By accessing or using CaliperAI (the "Service"), operated by Called Out LLC, dba CaliperAI ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. "As-Is" Software — No Warranties
THE SOFTWARE AND ALL CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH CALIPERAI ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
AI-generated diagnostic suggestions, repair guides, parts recommendations, cost estimates, recall information, and any other output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You must independently verify all information before acting on it.
3. Repairs Performed at Your Own Risk
Automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics are inherently dangerous activities. You acknowledge and agree that you perform any and all mechanical work entirely at your own risk.
CaliperAI is an informational tool only and is not a substitute for a licensed, qualified mechanic. If you are not trained, equipped, and confident in performing a repair safely, you must consult a certified professional. Always follow your vehicle manufacturer's official service documentation and applicable safety procedures.
4. Zero Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALLED OUT LLC, DBA CALIPERAI, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES HOLD ZERO LIABILITY FOR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE, VEHICLE DAMAGE, FINANCIAL LOSS, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH RESULTING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION, INSTRUCTION, ESTIMATE, OR RECOMMENDATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE.
This limitation applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
5. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for: (a) assessing your own skill level; (b) using proper tools, jack stands, eye protection, and protective equipment; (c) complying with local laws and emissions/safety regulations; and (d) the consequences of any repair or modification performed on your vehicle.
6. Payments & Vehicle Pass
Optional one-time purchases (such as the Lifetime Vehicle Pass) are processed by Stripe. All sales are final unless otherwise required by law.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
